Do you long for the freedom to be yourself, to have meaningful relationships with others, and to make an impact on the world?
Hi, I’m Fern, first and foremost a follower of Jesus. I love having life-giving connections with others and discovering and sharing insights, especially those that set us free to be all God created us to be. I am an insatiable learner, an inspirational writer, an empathetic listener, and a life purpose coach.
However, although this site is based on my name, it really isn’t about me. It’s about living authentically and purposefully.
Most of us are on a life-long quest for significance. We want to make an impact on our world and to have meaningful connections with others who love and accept as we are. For those of us who are followers of Jesus, we want our lives to bring Him glory.
But so often we struggle to know how to do this. We tend to compare ourselves to others and be who they are, because that seems to work for them, or we want their acceptance and approval.
God doesn’t call us to be someone else, though. He calls us to be ourselves as He designed and created us. This involves a life-long journey of:
- Discovering who God really is and who He is to us.
- Discovering who we are and living authentically as God designed and created us.
- Discovering and living our unique God-given purpose.
It is in this state of living authentically and purposefully as God created us — while relying on Him to be our Everything (the key) — that we find true significance and connection with others and the impact we so much long for.
While all this sounds so simple, it’s easier said than done. That’s why it’s a life-long journey, and it’s also why it helps to have support along the way.
I’m glad you’re here and I hope you’ll stick around as we take this journey together. We will explore how to have an amazing relationship with God as our Everything, how to find our own true identity and live it authentically, and how to discover the unique life purpose for which God has strategically designed and created us.
